Is there any kind of background check that is done on the camp staff coaches before they are hired?
| Yes. U-M Risk Management requires that all camp staff employees complete a background check each year. | Do I need to be present at check-in? |
As long as your daughter has filled out all of the required forms and paid her balance, you do not have to be present at check-in. At check-in your daughter will receive her t-shirt and the camp staff will collect any unpaid balance and/or any outstanding paperwork.

How should I inform the staff if my daughter has some sort of medical condition?
There will be an athletic trainer on staff at all times. Upon check-in on the first day of camp, you should inform the trainer about you daughter's condition, ie. medicine, dosage, allergies, etc. The trainer will also have a copy of the medical information provided for camp registration with him/her at all times.

What do I do if my daughter has food allergies?
Be sure to note her allergies on the registration form as our trainers will have this information with them at lunch. Also, make sure you talk to our trainers at the start of the camp to make them aware of your daughter and her specific allergy, and how to handle an episode.

Will there be soccer balls for sale at camp?

If my daughter is attending camp with one or more friends, when can she make a roommate request?
Roommates will be assigned at registration by the UM Housing Staff. Please try to check-in with your roommate to expedite this process. Triples are not usually available because housing has reduced the number because college students don’t want them. PLEASE try to choose only one roommate so campers won’t be disappointed. Even if they are not in the same room, campers can still be located in the same hall.

What is your refund policy?
Your deposit/payment is refundable up to one (1) week before camp, minus a small administration fee of $25. Because we hire staff and purchase equipment and supplies based on our anticipated enrollment, there are no refunds for cancellations within 7 days of the first day of camp. Refunds (less the admin fee) will be made for medical reasons only and must be accompanied by a signed medical statement from your physician. There are no refunds for campers expelled for inappropriate behavior at camp. Administration fees and any other non-refunded money can be put toward your camp cost for the next year.
