Now entering into it's 18th exciting year, the Missouri State Soccer School is known as one of the finest quality teaching soccer camps in the nation. The Missouri State Soccer School offers players the opportunity to enhance their individual skills and further develop the concepts of team play. Missouri State University, located in Springfield, Missouri, the gateway city to the Ozarks, provides an ideal environment for all players. The Missouri State Soccer School offers serious players the opportunity to train and develop under the guidance of the first-rate instructional staff. come and experience what thousands of players from around the nation have chosen as their summer home for soccer. Many of the Missouri State University's varsity players are Missouri State Soccer School alumni. Missouri State Soccer Schol has had players from well over 25 states and several foreign countries attend. | Residential & Team campers will receive a soccer ball, camp shirt, & water bottle. Residential campers will also receive a personal planner. A closing awards ceremony will be held at the conclusion of each camp. |

| Staff Biographies | Missouri State University offers the ideal setting for a fun-filled week of camp. Adult staff members will live in the residence hall with the campers, providing supervision. A trainer will be available at all camps. In addition, MSU provides residence hall supervision and campus security.
| | Jon Leamy - Director (Mens Head Coach, MSU)
Jon Leamy enters his 18th season as head coach of the Missouri State men’s soccer team and has transformed the Bears into a nationally-recognized program.
In addition to his decorated collegiate experience, Leamy has spent extensive time working with youth soccer programs. He has served as director of the Illinois Youth Soccer Association Boys Olympic Development Program, and is currently the director of the Southwest Missouri Soccer School. Leamy also served as a Midwest Olympic Development Regional staff coach. Leamy earned his master’s degree in athletic administration from Illinois State in 1986. He holds both NSCAA and Advanced National coaching diplomas and is licensed by the U. S. Soccer Federation and the Football Association of Ireland. (more...)
| | Rob Brewer - Coach (Women's Head Coach, MSU)
Head coach Rob Brewer is the only women’s soccer coach in school history and he begins his 12th season leading the Bears in 2007.
Brewer, who earned his master’s degree in education from Virginia Tech in 1981, was a standout soccer player at Lynchburg and competed as a high jumper on the Hornets’ track and field team. He won the school’s Outstanding Male Athlete Award as a senior in 1977 and was inducted into the Lynchburg Sports Hall of Fame in 1990. The Lynchburg, Va., native was selected by the NCAA Division I Women’s Soccer Committee to serve on the Central Regional Advisory Committee in February of 1998. (more...)
| | Michael Seabolt - Coach (Assistant Coach, MSU)
Michael Seabolt joined the Missouri State soccer program in 2007. He is involved in all facets of the program on and off the field, and oversees recruiting for head coach Jon Leamy.
Seabolt graduated cum laude with a degree in political science from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, in 1996. He graduated from the Duke University School of Law in 2000 and was also a member of Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Seabolt is an avid skier. (more...) | | Dave Stockton - Coach (Assistant Coach, MSU)
David Stockton joins the Missouri State soccer program for the 2008 season. Stockton is involved in all facets of the program on and off the field and specializes in the training of goalkeepers.
Stockton has played professionally in the Pacific Coast Soccer League and Premier Development League, and was an all star in the PCSL in 2004. He spent the 2005 and 2006 season with the DFW Tornados of the PDL. Stockton earned his United States Soccer Federation "C" License in September of 2007 and is on track to earn his Master of Science in Kinesiology from Midwestern State in December 2008. (more...)
| | Chip Dutchik - Coach (Women's Assistant Coach, MSU)
Assistant coach Chip Dutchik begins his second season with the program. He is involved in recruiting, assisting in organizing individual and team training sessions, goalkeeper training, and the coordination of travel plans. Dutchik is also the assistant director of the Missouri State all-girls soccer school.
A Wentzville, Mo., native, Dutchik was a product of the Busch Soccer Club. He played his college soccer career at Missouri Baptist University, where he led the Spartans as captain for two years and received the program’s player of the year award in 2002. Dutchik received his degree in kinesiology from Missouri Baptist in 2004 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in education with an emphasis on sports management. (more...)

| Frequently Asked Questions | ![]() | What are your facilities? | The Missouri State Soccer School facilities are the same as those used by the athletes at Missouri State University. Included are several full-sized fields, featuring Plaster Stadium (field turf surface), indoor facilities, swimming pool and other facilities to insure a week filled with enjoyment. Campers will be housed in air-conditioned campus residence halls where they will enjoy delicious "all you can eat" meals. | ![]() | What type of ball will the residential camps receive? | Each camper will receive a complimentary soccer ball at check in. Size 4 (Ages 7-11), Size 5 (Ages 12 & up), balls are available for campers. The official Missouri State Soccer School ball will be a quality stitched Diadora ball.
| ![]() | What are the differences between the residential camps and the communter camps? | The Missouri State Soccer School welcomes commuters to our Residential & Team camps. Commuters will participate in all activities included in camp, beginning with registration. A commuter’s day will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at approximately 8:30 p.m. Commuters do not receive lodging or breakfast. | ![]() | When is check-in for the camps? What about check-out? | Both Boys and Girls Residential Camp check in will be from 1:30 - 3:30pm, Saturday, the first day of camp. Check out will be approximately 11:30am on Wednesday, the last day of camp. Boys Jr. Residential Camp check in will be from noon - 1:30pm, Saturday the first day of camp. Boys Jr. Residential Camp check out will be approximately 3:30pm Tuesday, the last day of camp. Team Camp check-in will be from noon - 2pm, Thursday (Girls) or Tuesday (Boys), the first day of camp. Check-out will be approximately 4pm Sunday (Girls) or Friday (Boys), the last day of camp. Day Camp check in will be from 8:30 - 9am on Monday the first day of camp. Daily pick ups will be at 4pm.
| ![]() | How much money is required at registration? | A $125 deposit along with the Registration Form is required for all residential and team campers. A $30 deposit along with the Registration Form is required for all day campers. The remaining balance is due at check in. | ![]() | When will I get confirmation of my registration and additional return information? | NEW THIS YEAR: Following Receipt of your registration, return information including: check-in, what to bring to camp, maps, Insurance and Medical Information Form and Parental Permission, Medical Authorization, and Release will be sent to you via your email address as listed on the Registration Form. | ![]() | What insurance coverage is provided? | The Missouri State Soccer School provides secondary accident/medical insurance. Camper’s personal insurance will be used for primary coverage | ![]() | What happens if I cancel or need a refund? | An administrative fee ($50 Residential & Team camps, $30 Day camps) will be kept on all cancellations. After May 31st, refunds minus the administrative fee will be given only for medical reasons when accompanied with a letter from your physician. Notification of injury/illness must be documented and on file with the camp, prior to the start of camp, in order to receive a medical refund. For a noninjury/ illness cancellation after May 31st the entire deposit ($125 Residential & Team camps, $30 Day & Evening camps) will be kept. | ![]() | Any further payment information? | The customer agrees to pay $30 service charge on all returned checks. Your check and service charge may be electronically debited against your account, by Checkrite.
