James Madison Soccer Camps offer instructional and competitive soccer camps to include the tactics and techniques of the game. JMU Soccer Camp does this by holding daily matches, grouping campers by age and ability, and maintaining a small coach to player ratio. Valley Soccer Camps at JMU take pride in their outstanding, top level coaching staff and their coaches are eager to share their experience and training with their campers.

Almost all trainers are college anduniversity level coaches with either US< NSCAA and FIFA licenses. College players, both present and former work as camp counselors. | | Tom Martin - Camp Director, Men's Head Coach (, James Madison University)
Tom Martin is the camp director of Valley Soccer Camps and JMU and has been the head coach of soccer at James Madison for the past twenty years. Coach Martin holds a USSF "A" Coaching License. Before coaching at JMU, Martin was a two time MVP on a Davis and Elkins collegiate team which won two national championships. Coach Martin graduated from West Virginia University with a Masters in Physical Education and a Doctorates in Education. Coach Martin is also a staff member of the Virginia Olympic Development Program. | | Athletic trainers are on site 24 hours a day. The entire staff is required to reside in the university dormitories with the campers. |

| Frequently Asked Questions | ![]() | | What should I bring to Valley Soccer Camp at JMU? | | All campers should bring appropriate playing clothing, protective gear, indoor and outdoor soccer shoes, a soccer ball, water bottle and sunscreen.
