Ben Freakley School of Soccer

The Ben Freakley School of Soccer exists to improve players at all levels of the game. From beginning players just learning the game, to advanced players with aspirations of playing at higher levels, the Ben Freakley School of Soccer fits the technical, tactical, physical and psychological needs of all players. The Ben Freakley School of Soccer is in its fifth year, and camp sessions are open to boys and girls ages 10-18.

Individual Training:
During the week, each player will have opportunities to improve their individual ability through technical training sessions. Regardless of the player’s ability level, the technical training sessions will improve, sharpen and strengthen the skill level of each camper. It is no secret how this is done...hard work and time on the ball equals a proven recipe for success.

Team Training:
All levels of teams are welcome at camp. Technical-Tactical training sessions will improve each player’s ability to play within the framework of small groups and the entire team collectively. Evening games also offer each team a chance to showcase their development throughout the week. We also offer special sessions for teams in the morning. The BFSS is able to tailor these sessions to the specific needs of each team.

Goalkeeper Training: Goalkeeper training will be provided at the camp. Each day goalkeepers attending camp will have specialized goalkeeper training sessions. Shot-stopping, dealing with crosses, distribution and foot skills are just some of the topics addressed throughout the week with our goalkeepers. At night, they will be placed with teams for competition.
